Tummy Ease Tea

Roots and Leaves Tummy Ease Tea is a handcrafted, loose-leaf, caffeine-free herbal tea blend made with five organic herbs — peppermint leaves, dried ginger, fennel seeds, chamomile flowers, and licorice root — a gentle, gut-soothing tea formulated by an herbalist to ease stomach discomfort, calm bloating and cramping, support gut lining healing, and relieve digestive distress, available in a 2.25 oz bag that makes up to 75 cups.

Stomach issues can be distracting at best and debilitating at worst. I have struggled tremendously with stomach issues due to having Lyme, mold, parasites, and endometriosis — and this Tummy Ease blend has always come to the rescue when I need it. As an herbalist I take great pride in my recipes being balanced, tasty, and more importantly—effective. This tea is very mild tasting and refreshing with a hint of peppermint and ginger at the finish.

Our handmade tea is made to order, therefore it is fresher than anything you will find in the store. Loose-leaf tea is more effective because the herbs are not sealed up and every inch of them are touched by the hot water, allowing for higher extraction of the nutrients. Bagged teas are sealed shut on all sides with toxic glue—always go with loose-leaf tea, whenever possible, for this reason.

This blend is unique and high in stomach-soothing herbs. It is caffeine and sugar free. Each herb was carefully chosen for its ability to soothe the stomach and heal the gut lining.

SERVING SUGGESTION

Serving size is around 1–3 tsp per 8 oz of hot (just below boiling) water. Steep 10–20 minutes in a covered cup for maximum benefits. Covering helps prevent nutrients from escaping as steam.

Optional add-on: Stainless steel mesh ball strainer with locking component and hook that hangs over top of mug (+$2.50). Please note these are very fine mesh strainers but small bits of herbs may still get through at times.
